Assaf Tzur, MD
Dr. Tzur, originally from Tel-Aviv, Israel, spent his childhood in South Florida and studied in New York. After completing medical school at Sackler School of Medicine in Tel-Aviv, Dr. Tzur returned to South Florida and subsequently completed his residency in internal medicine at Mount Sinai Medical Center. During his residency, he skillfully developed his fascination with the heart and specifically, the electrical signals that govern its rhythm. He stayed at Mount Sinai for his cardiology training and then moved to Gainesville where he specialized in electrophysiology at the University of Florida at Shands Hospital. Following completion of his training, Dr. Tzur returned to Miami to join MICC.
Dr. Tzur is Board Certified in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology, Cardiovascular Diseases, Adult Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology and Internal Medicine. He has won numerous awards and skillfully utilizes his advanced certifications and training in the latest techniques to care for his patients.
