Handre Hurwit, M.D.

Dr. Hurwit has over 25 years of experience as a cardiologist and specializes in Interventional Cardiology and Electrophysiology. He is a partner at MICC and currently serves as the Chief of Cardiology at Jackson North Medical Center. He also serves as a clinical cardiologist at Jackson North and Memorial West. He is board certified with the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a member of the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography as a Physician Scientist Member.
Dr. Hurwit has held teaching positions throughout the state of Florida as well as nationally. He is a spokesperson for the America Heart Association and has made several TV and radio appearances, including CNN Headline News and Channel 10 News. He has been a speaker for the following medical companies: Wyeth Lab, AstraZeneca, Sanofi Aventis, KOS, SCIOS/ Johnson & Johnson, Ranexa, Novartis, Glaxo SmithKline and Pfizer.
